I believe that eating food that is good and good for you is one of the great pleasures in life. I love to collect recipes and cook for my family and friends. I feel particularly lucky to have lived just a few blocks from the Pike Place Market, where I could try fresh and exotic ingredients.
My recipes are predominantly vegetarian, but occasionally include seafood or poultry.
I have collected these recipes over several years from a wide variety of sources, such as the Food Conference at Cafe Utne, CNN's Food Central, and the Food channel at iVillage. I'm pretty sloppy with documentation, so I'm not sure where all the recipes originated. Also, I often change or add ingredients - I notate these changes where applicable.
Also, please note that I haven't made all these recipes myself. When I do make one, I usually comment on it, so if you don't see my comments, consider it untried and untested.
